Still trying to get some answers about donating platelets in the Chandler area. Go to The Red Cross's website if you live outside of Phoenix, they may have a clinic near you. Hopefully I'll have some concrete answer about donating platelets and blood by Monday...

Jake, I'm Abby's (Ms. Dupke's) husband--Dave Stempien. She told me about you over the weekend (though I'm sure she told me about you when you were in her class). I'm enlightened by your attitude and optimism and impressed by all that Abby has told me about you.
ReplyDeleteI work with United Blood Services. I passed your blog over to our Arizona office. Since platelets have a shelf-life of 5 days (they're stored around room temperature), we're always looking for new donors. If you're looking for answers, pop me a note.
